Good morning SMGC members,
Following week 27 of the 2025-2026 SMGC season, Bill Hengisman continues his impressive run toward the Crystal Cup championship. Frank Cremen has gained some ground and remains in second place, followed by Don Anderson in third. Gary Zbilski has also moved up to secure the fourth-place position.
As a reminder, your total points are determined by your top 20 rounds. With approximately half the season remaining, there is still ample opportunity to play your way into the top 25 and earn a share of the $3,000 Crystal Cup prize pool at the end of the year.
The SMGC Board of Directors held their monthly business meeting yesterday after golf. I have attached the meeting minutes for your review.
Additionally, we will be hosting a 2-man best ball tournament next Tuesday. The competition will feature three flights with Crystal Cup points on the line. Sign-ups are now open, so please secure your spot in the field as soon as possible.
